Combining the work of teacher and educator

From the question of the members about the teacher’s salary: “How is the work of a teacher who has a teaching load of 25 hours per week, of which – 11 hours in a particular subject of the curriculum and 14 hours – according to the individual form of student education. Can such a teacher work part-time as an educator in an extended day group? Accounting pays for those 7 hours of individual training in excess of 1.5 rates, on an hourly basis, due to the ban on part-time work with documents of the former USSR.

Remuneration of educators, including teachers, educators, is carried out in accordance with the Instruction on the procedure for calculating salaries of educators, agreed with the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Labor of Ukraine and the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Educators and Scientists of Ukraine and approved by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine from 15.04.1993 No. 102, registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 27.05.1993 for No. 56 (hereinafter Instruction No. 102).

According to paragraph 63 of the Instruction No. 102, the workload between teachers, lecturers and other pedagogical staff is distributed by the head of the institution in agreement with the trade union committee depending on the number of hours provided by the curriculum, availability of relevant teaching staff and other specific conditions. This paragraph stipulates that the amount of educational and other pedagogical work that can be performed by a pedagogical worker at the main place of work is not limited.
